The Sundial Kitchen
Business Details
The Sundial Kitchen at Amba House is a café that caters to everyone, with a special focus on vegetarian and vegan food. Everything is fresh and made in house: from bread to pasta, from cakes to sauces. Everything possible is from local suppliers, and with two highly experienced chefs in the kitchen, the food is innovative, interesting, and delicious.
Run by Chloë Hunt and Paul Lusmore, The Sundial Kitchen offers a place to try restaurant quality food in a café setting, with a variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch options, small plates, cakes, with plenty of hot sauces, ferments, beers, wines and coffee to go with it. Chloë has worked in catering and as a private chef for many years, and has had her own catering business since 2019. Paul has been a chef for 13 years, and has worked all over the world, as well as at many Bristol institutions, such as Flinty Red, Bell’s Diner and Bar Buvette.
We have moved from our old home on North Street, but our ethos remains the same; using sustainable sources and reducing waste, whilst creating delicious food and a community atmosphere in our beautiful new premises.
If you are coming on the weekend it is advisable to book to avoid disappointment, although we do have some tables for walk-ins.
And we are dog friendly!
