The Gossip Play Cafe

The Gossip Play Café is Bristol’s first Montessori inspired play cafe that focusses on zero waste and sustainability. The Bedminster based café, provides a calm and relaxing environment for parents to enjoy vegan and vegetarian food, whilst also supplying a safe space for children to play. The play space inspires independent and sensory play aimed at 0-4 year olds.

The Gossip play café launched in October 2021 and is the newest cafe to hit West Street in Bedminster, just a short walk from the popular area of North Street. The café is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Brad and Emily. The power couple have already built successful businesses in their own rights, and are now incorporating their home life to bring something unique to the city of Bristol. Since having their first son, Teddie, in 2019, they have observed a gap in the modern market to launch a new business venture that works alongside their son, whilst also tapping in to a unique business idea that hasn’t yet been explored in central Bristol.
