Shared Planet Café

The Shared Planet Café is a volunteer-run café that offers cheap, healthy and ethical food and acts as a platform for political activism and cultural exchange. 

The café is currently closed as we are being forbidden to cook on campus following a decision made over summer by University Management. We are fighting this in every way we can! If you want to help us, start by adding your name to our petition  : Save Shared Planet Café! While we are trying our best to re-open the café, we have decided to keep offering our cheap and delicious food EVERY WEDNESDAY in the Johnston building, between 12 and 4. The food will be made at home by our amazing volunteers with produce sourced from our own VegBag and from the The Corner. If you are able to, then we would love to receive donations to help cover the costs. We believe that having an active society on campus and a physical place for local students concerned with social and environmental issues to meet, discuss and get active is vital. We hope that by bringing the café back on Wednesdays, we can one again create this community. Come and join us!
