Great food, great atmosphere. Some of the staff are vegan - hence the vegan menu!! Located right by the river, and the old bridge in Worcester. Excellent "snug" bar upstairs, where the DJs play great music on a Friday night.
The Old Rec is one of the very few places in Worcester that actually as a specific vegan menu. You should go along and support this, or we may lose it.
The food is gastro pub style, very enjoyable - very different from the standard mushroom risotto or jacket potato and beans.
The place is welcoming, has a large car park, and is nicely decorated inside. There is also a garden to sit out in on the are sunny day.
Well worth a visit!
