We are an independent health food shop based in the centre of Penrith, a small, but growing, friendly town on the edge of the Lake District National Park. 5 minutes from Junction 40 on the M6.

We have a wide product range which has increased over the last 30 years or so, ‘whole’ foods including Organic and loose fill choice. Peanut butter size of 1K on promotion, cashew & almond butter available. Jams, tamari, tahini, sauces, cereals….a long list not to mention our 108 different herbs & spices.

Dietary supplements, as winter approaches consider a vitamin D to help supplement our lack of sunshine. Zinc, vitamin C, Echinacea might help to ward off those winter coughs and colds.

Household cleaning – eco friendly range and you can fill your container from our bulk storage. We have 20 years of refilling (but still spill!)

Cosmetics include, Inika, Dr Hauschka, Green People, Siberica, Weleda and several more offering help for sensitive, problem skin without harsh chemicals and animal testing.

The necessary product knowledge and the continual training needed is huge, we’re members of the NAHS, and follow the protocol required when working with customers.

A food sensitivity test is often recommended – a fully qualified Nutritionist is available (by appointment).

Herbalist, homeopath, counselling are some of the therapies available in store, again by appointment only.
