The Mermaid Inn

Traditionally the haunt of smugglers, pirates and fishermen the pub is still firmly connected to its maritime past. Now the destination of choice for sailors and more legitimate boatmen, locals and visitors alike the traditional main bar is the social hub of St Mary's.



You can also experience the Slip Inn bar and bistro or The Mermaid restaurant both of which overlook the old quay and St Mary's Harbour and have stunning views of Samson, Bryher and Tresco. While the main bar retains its historic character, The Slip Inn and Mermaid restaurant exude a more fresh and contemporary maritime feel.
