A warm welcome awaits you at Kings Reach. A vegan B & B with two self-catering apartments, situated in the small settlement of Kilmichael Glassary, on the edge of historic and beautiful Kilmartin Glen. There are lovely uninterrupted views of Dunadd Hill Fort from our rooms. The small town of Lochgilphead is just a short drive away.All our breakfasts are vegan, 100% plant based- that means we don't serve any meat, fish, dairy or eggs. You don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to stay here, EVERYONE IS WELCOME.Take a look at our FOOD page to see our delicious breakfast menu- It's not all lentils and lettuce!

We have three large comfortable ensuite B & B rooms in the house, one kingsize, one double and one twin. Each have their own sitting area and views of Dunadd Hill Fort.If you prefer to do your own thing, we also have vegan friendly self-catering accommodation. Why not book one of our fully-equipped semi-detached apartments, situated behind the house. They have an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner and two bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 people. Ideal for families or larger groups.

We are ideally located in mid-Argyll, 4 miles south of Kilmartin village with its museum, and a short drive from Lochgilphead, Inveraray, the Crinan canal, Knapdale forest and the bustling ferry port of Oban , Gateway to the Hebrides. Glasgow is a scenic two hour drive away, ideal for a weekend break. We are located on the Argyll Coastal route and National Cycle Network route 78 ( The Caledonia way).We are CYCLE FRIENDLY and have secure, dry overnight storage for cycles in our large garage. Mid-Argyll is a beautiful magical part of Scotland, a real hidden gem. There are many historical sites with ancient standing stones and rock carvings. We have lochs and castles, forests, rugged coastline, beautiful beaches, amazing rainbows and sunsets, and wildlife on the doorstep.
