Jaunty Goat - Northgate Street

We knew that our next venture had to be environmentally conscious, but still with the choice and offering that have proved to be a success at our Bridge Street shop. With that in mind, in January 2019, we decided to launch an entirely plant-based coffee shop. Situated in the heart of the ever-growing ‘Northgate Quarter', our vegan shop retains our genuine hospitality and passion for coffee in a bright, communal space, filled with plants and minimalist decor.



Our entirely plant-based menu features a variety of brunch classics, but also a number of seasonal dishes. We strive to use locally sourced produce and create as much in-house as possible.



In the hopper is our house espresso, a blend consisting of Ethiopian, Papua New Guinea, El Salvador and Colombian origins. This is also available to purchase from our retail shelf, as well as home brewing equipment and merchandise. We also regularly rotate our single origin espresso and filter coffee offering - available as an AeroPress, V60 or Chemex.



Unfortunately, we cannot take reservations, however there is usually a quick turnaround on tables, and our staff will be more than happy to help you find a space as soon as possible. We're dog-friendly, with treats for them too! Please note, due to the use of animal by-product in banknotes, we only take card payments.



We are open Monday through Saturday, from 8am until 6pm, and Sunday from 9am until 6pm. We are open on all Bank Holidays except Christmas Day.
