Ipanema

Ipanema Cafe is a full-service vegetarian restaurant and bar on Grace Street in the heart of the VCU community. We offer healthy and delicious vegetarian and vegan eats, amazing desserts, and a great beer&wine selection. We have the best patio on Grace Street if you're looking to be outside for a while. We host a monthly free music series called Live at Ipanema. The shows are recorded & photographed, and then shared online. The band gets a high-quality recording and professional photos, and everyone else gets a great evening of music. It's fun. Ipanema Cafe opened in 1998. In addition to Ipanema, Kendra Feather owns 2 other restaurants and a bakery in Richmond, Virginia. Feather opened Garnett's Cafe in 2009, followed by The Roosevelt (with Lee Gregory) in 2011, and WPA Bakery (with David Rohrer) in November 2012. She was named Restaurateur of the Year by Richmond Magazine in 2013.
