Cathy and John warmly welcome you to the Claymore situated in the heart of Scotland's beautiful capital city Edinburgh.

A lovely Victorian terraced house - modern yet retaining original period features. Our rooms are bright and cheery just like us. They are also very comfortable and individual in furniture and decoration.

Centrally situated and near to all of Edinburgh's attractions we are a short 15 minutes walk from Princes Street. If walking is not your thing this city has excellent public transport and the number 11 bus stops right at our door.

We are about enjoyable accommodation, an amiable atmosphere and good food and we like to welcome every kind of guest.

Though our food is vegetarian we like to offer a wide variety of choice and the best quality we can get so hopefully there is something for everyone. We enjoy the exploration of natural food and will continue to work on fresh ideas for the breakfast menu and we cook for pleasure.
