Rose of Denmark

Ah, the Rose of Denmark, an old but perfectly formed gem of a pub nearby the river and close to the flyover.



Since the 1800's, and maybe beyond, a welcome pub with friendly folk, warming fires and tasty fayre.



Our weekly changing menu for lunch and dinner is superbly put together using only the finest of local ingredients, and with our plate of the day ranges from £5 per head.

Some nice vegan pub grub on the menu including: roast cauliflower, beetroot, lentil & almond salad; hot and spicy Mexican bean burger, with sweet potato fries, salad and slaw;split pea and haricot bean shepherd's pie with romesco cauliflower. Some other items are able to be veganised.
