The Lazy Leek

At The Lazy Leek we specialise in vegan street food using locally sourced, ethical produce. We currently cater for small events and will soon be bringing our wholesome plant-based burgers and badass wraps to street food markets in and around Cardiff.



We are a local family business and between us we've had experience catering at music festivals up and down the UK since 2007; running chalets in the French Alps; working in commercial kitchens and cooking food for refugees in Calais. With all this experience behind us we thought it was time to start out on our own, and thus the Lazy Leek was born. With one of us being born and bred in Cardiff and the others now calling it home, we wouldn't want to start our venture anywhere else.



Our passion is a love of creating and sharing wholesome, healthy and exciting food, in a way that looks after our remarkable planet. We strongly believe that cutting the meat and dairy out of your diet needn't cut out the taste, and look forward to joining the growing number of caterers in the Welsh capital showcasing exciting vegan cuisine. Everything on our menu is free from meat and dairy, we provide gluten free options and are happy to get creative in order to meet other dietary requirements. We want to share with the world how easy, tasty and exciting eating vegan can be!
